Salut Alex comment vas tu après ce week end de la 2S ECHO 2010 BY KITADDICT?
Bien très bien à part que la grosse saison approche et on va se faire déchirer au magasin donc je profite encore de mes quelques instant de kite avant février comme pendant ce week end par exemple !! Surtout que c'est l'occasion de revoir pleins de potes de toute la France et de faire la fête !!!
Tu étais en ski, comment se gère une course quand le vent peine a souffler et que le parcours est réduit?
Plus le parcours est petit plus tu risques de t'emmêler, surtout dans les montées. Déjà merci d'avoir inversé le sens de course par rapport aux autres années car la montée juste aprés la ligne de départ était le cauchemar des débutants et des snowboarders surtout...
En gros pour ne pas t'emmêler il faut prendre un gros départ et comment prendre de l'avance quand tous les gus restent sur la ligne de départ ?? En arrivant lancé... pas forcément vite mais assez pour ne pas trop bouger l'aile et se fauffiler entre les concurrents dans les 5 dernières seconde.
Et puis j'avoue que je ride pour Flysurfer depuis 3 ans et que dans le light wind en race tout le monde commence à comprendre que tu "peux pas test" lol. Le nombre de speed 3 au départ et sur les podiums cette année en est la preuve.
Et puis là où c'est joué la différence avec Banjo sur la finale est peut être la préparation des skis car c'est sur le plat que je l'ai distancé. J'explique un peu plus tout cela dans mon blog:

Vas tu suivre la totalité du circuit snowkite cette année?
Ben écoutes j'ai toujours aimé bouger et rider tous les jours sur le même spot aussi bien soit il et même si c'est le col du Lautaret ce n'est pas mon truc. J'aime voir de nouveaux spots (les pyrénées m'intriguent par exemple) et puis revenir à Font d'Urle où j'ai apppris à être moniteur de snowkite pendant 3 semaines est un plaisir. Revoir les organisateurs, les concurrents... c'est top ! C'est la famille du snowkite !! Et ma mère m'a toujours dit que la famille c'était primordial alors je rate pas une réunion de famille !!
Tu reviendras l'année prochaine?
Bah si c'est possible, cette année je me concentre sur le championnat de france, mais l'an prochain je compte me concentrer sur les événements étrangers. Tellement de dates qui tombent en même temps que cela dépendera des calendriers des uns et des autres mais à priori ca fait 3 ans que l'on vient pourquoi ne pas revenir?
Un petit mot sur la 2S ECHO 2010 BY KITADDICT?
C'est un bon début, mais j'attends encore plus... lol
L'année prochaine si vous êtes le 3S echo vous avez tout compris !!!! Je m'explique, le kite est un tout et il nous manque un combiné comme celui que vous proposez sur l'eau et la neige mais n'oubliez pas le mountainboard. Il y a de trés bon riders en France, Willy des T2K, Lolo et Louis adrien de la CKC, Julien Chossard d'Auvergne, ,Lips et Romouts dans les vosges, Yan Lhuisset et Antoine Fallot en Bretagne... et j'en oublie un paquet !!!
Mais sinon super organisation et gros coup de coeur du week end pour Solar sound system !! fan de teuf et autres musicaleries en tout genre je trouve l'idée top et de l'avoir poussée à fond comme eux c'est extras. Je les ai déjà branché sur 3 autres événements de ce type ... à suivre !!!
Trop fier de faire du kite et de rider écolo, que les organisateurs s'y mettent aussi est terrible !!

Hey Alex how are you after the 2S ECHO 2010 BY KITADDICT?
Well I am good, just we are over working on the skis shop during this high season ... but I could kite a bit before it gets crazy so I could relax and have fun with my buddies from all around france !!!
You was with your skis, how do you manage your race in this very light wind?
Shorter is the race, harder it gets, especial on the uphill part where you can make a big mess with your lines and the ones of the ther riders... this is the night mare of the beginners and of the snowboarders especially...
So the best thing to do is to get some speed just before the start, not too much but just speed enought to keep your kite stable and then you have less chance to crash your kite into another one ... at least get some sped for the 5 last second before the start...
And yeah since I am riding for Flysurfer in the light wind, "you can't understand what's happen to you lol". Just check how many Speed 3 are on the top 5 or on the podium ...
Yeah and also the ski's preparation is important, I kicked Banjo's ass on the flat, cause my skis were really rockin and rippin' well, let's read it on my blog (french)

Are you going to follow the whole tour this year?
Well I always like moving around and riding all the time on the same place even if it's the best spot as the Lautaret's pass, it's not made for me. I like moving around and seeing or discovering fresh new places as Les Angles in the Pyrénean mountains; I can't wait to ride this new spot for me and coming back to Font D'Urles where I did the aprentiship to get the snowkite teaching licence ... yeah it 's like a big family for me , and my mum always told me " family before anything else ;)
Will you come back next year?
If I can yes, this year I am focusing on the French Tour but next year, I wanna focus more and put more energy into the international events. there is so many events and dates so it's hard to make a choice especially when tw diferent event are programmed in the same time. But I am coming for already 3 years so why not a 4th one?
One word on the 2S ECHO 2010 BY KITADDICT?
It's a good start but i want more... lol
Next year if you become the 3S echo it 'll mean you understood everything !!!! Let me show ya my point of view, kite, is a global activity and we missed till now an event joining all this global activity. you offered us this year a first foretaste of what it could be, so next year, if you add some power kite it will be awesome, there is so many good riders around europe and in france that it would be just a crazy event to make all these riders from all these different activities coming for one event to share ther pasion for kiting :p !!!
Anyway the organisation was great, and I fell in love for the Solar Sound System, I love partying and music and this concept of sound system is just great, the guys pushed their idea to the top and it's just awesome, i loved it !!!
I am so proud to be a kiter, to ride eco-friendly and to se that some guys are pushing this way in their events, yeah that's awesome !!
